ABOUT THE CHAPTER
The Beta Kappa chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated was chartered on the campus of Tuskegee Institute on April 15, 1948 by thirteen college educated black men. The past 70+ years have seen men exemplify the highest standards of brotherhood, scholarship, and service. Brothers that have achieved career success include:

Dr. Kendal Major, formerly Speaker of the House of Assembly and Member of Parliament of The Bahamas

Bro. Terry Bradden, Jr. (Fall 11), currently a Defensive Quality Control Coach for the Kansas City Chiefs (including the team that won Super Bowl LIV)

Bro. Myles Polk (Fall 11), currently a contestant on season 1 of CBS' Tough As Nails.

The Beta Kappa chapter is supervised and guided by the Gamma Sigma chapter, which is the first chapter of any NPHC fraternity to be chartered in Alabama, which occured in March 1918. Our graduate chapter is one of the oldest chapters of Sigma and boasts many men of influence not only at Tuskegee, but world wide, including:
